Cleveland Kidnapping: Abortion Connection

The Cleveland kidnapping N abortion connection?
What does that heinous crime
Have to do with killing unborn children?
It has to do with the word miscarriage
And not the natural kind.

Cleveland Kidnapping: Abortion Connection
Backstory

Cleveland Kidnapping: abortion connection Before we start, the “cleveland kidnapping refers to the abduction and ten-year captivity of three women in Cleveland, Ohio.
Their names are Amanda Berry, Georgina “Gina” DeJesus, and Michelle Knight. Between the years of 2002 and 2013, Ariel Castro kidnapped these three women. And he held them captive in his home in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. And, subsequently, he imprisoned them in his home on Seymour Avenue until May 6, 2013.

Here was how these three women resurfaced. On May 6, 2016, Berry was able to escape with her six-year-old daughter. And Castro was arrested within hours. Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight became free women.

Ariel N His Home-Grown Abortions

Knight told police that Castro had impregnated her at least five times. And she had induced miscarriages each time through beatings: hitting with dumbbells, punching, and slamming her against walls. Starvation was also included. What would we call this if done with medical instruments in a hospital or clinic? Abortion. In Knight’s case, her rapist-abortionist simply used more natural and homegrown methods. But we know that these “miscarriages” were targeted and premeditated killings. Abortions.

Ariel Lets One Victim Choose Life

EVen before she was kidnapped, Knight chose life for a baby. She had been compelled to place him in adoption, reportedly. In her captivity, Amanda Berry got pregnant and gave birth to a daughter. She delivered her baby in the house where the women were held captive. DNA evidence had confirmed that Ariel Castro was the biological father of the child. These were life-affirming themes even in a story like this. We don’t know why Berry’s rapist didn’t force her to abort. The point is, she chose life for her baby.

Conceiving In Rape

We know that Ariel Castro impregnated his victims at least six times. He performed five abortions on Knight, against her will. In essence, she suffering five forced abortions. Among Castro’s crimes, he was a home-grown abortionist. There are so many layers of tragedy in this horrific abduction story. But there are at least five unborn victims whom he didn’t allow to draw their first breath. And the sixth was allowed to live, but little Jocelyn had to spend her first years in a grossly abnormal and horrific situation.

As Little Jocelyn Must See Things

We don’t know how Berry’s daughter sees all this. Her formative years have been spent in an abnormal situation. This child was not only conceived in rape. For her first six years, she lived with her biological father, her mom’s rapist and kidnapper. She grew up thinking of him as her father. To her, this must have been normal-then. It was all she knew for the first six years of her life. As she gets older, Berry’s daughter will have to deal with the fact that her father was a rapist and kidnapper. No doubt her mom and family are doing their utmost to let her know that she is her mom’s daughter, and loved as such.

Conceived In Rape: All Lives Sacred

I think it’s safe to say that most people favor abortion “exceptions.” The only times they realize that a rape-conceived or “birth defect” baby is herself a victim who deserves to live is in several situations. You have been conceived in rape or incest yourself. As a baby, you were born with a “birth defect.” Or you yourself have conceived in any of these situations and know the enrichment of your experience. And the sanctity of your life or your loved one’s. But as a pro-lifer has asked: What if Jesus had had “exceptions when He went to the cross for us?

CALL TO ACTION I urge every person reading this to sign a petition. It calls on Congress to legislate for changes in how prenatal testing is done. Changes include no longer pushing prenatal testing for moms in the “high-risk” categories. The campaign calls on Congress to required medical professionals to inform parents of alternatives to abortion. These include support services for families of loved ones with special needs, and adoption.
